What to Expect
Brief Summary ~ Studio and Mobile Massage
After scheduling your Initial Appointment you will receive one (1) email confirmation with the Health History form. The Health History form should be completed in full prior to your first appointment and only once per year. The information on these forms provides me with in a "snap shot" of your health; past and present. It is important to be as thorough as possible.
During the first appointment I will briefly review your health history, conduct assessments and
discuss any short term and long term goals you may have for the massage therapy session. Your treatment plan will be based on the clinical impression determined from the assessments and any recommendations I may have.
We can then discuss what areas of the body you want to be treated so that the treatment plan is specific to your wants and needs. Those needs may change, therefore, so will you treatment plan. You will always be provided with options when it comes to any changes in your treatment plan. Your consent to assess or treat can be revoked at any time.

Following your massage treatment I will seek to determine your satisfaction of the treatment. I can suggest any modifications for future sessions to ensure that your goals for treatment are being met. If there was something that
you enjoyed or disliked, this is the opportunity to let me know. I will also be checking in at your follow-up visit to determine if you feel anything in the treatment was exceptional or beneficial.
Additionally, I can also provide you with some homecare exercise (if required) in order to enhance the outcome of the treatment session. You will be shown the exercise, then I will ask you to show me how you are doing it to ensure that your technique is correct. If you are feeling pain during an exercise, stop the exercise and be sure to let me know so we can go over it again or so that I can provide another exercise that can provide the same benefit.

Lastly, we can then discuss when to have your next treatment, if required, based on my recommendations and your availability.
If there are any question that are not answered here, please do not hesitate to ask, as I would be pleased to go into further detail.
